Time prepositions in, on, at – Predložky času in, on, at
V angličtine sa niektoré predložky používaju aj na vyjadrenie času aj miesta. Medzi ne patria aj predložky in, on, at. My si vysvetlíme ich použitie ako predložiek času.

Časť dňa sa dá kombinovať aj s dňom v týždni, ale vtedy už používame predložku času on.

Predložky času in/on/at nepoužívame pred: |

Poznámka: Predložku času in môžeme používať aj vtedy, keď chcem vyjadriť „ za aký čas od teraz“.

Hurry! The train leaves in five minutes. (= o päť minút od teraz)
Goodbye! I´ll see you in a few days. (= o pár dní od teraz)
Predložku in používame aj vtedy, keď chceme povedať ako dlho niečo trvá:
I learnt to drive in four weeks. (trvalo mi to 4 týždne)
