My home town is Michalovce. I was born, grow up and would like to stay here for the rest of my life. There live all my family, many friends and people who I like and who likes me.
The city is situated in the east side of Slovak Republic. Population is about 45 000 people and has 51.81 square kilometers. Near my city you can swim in the second biggest lake in Slovakia Zemplinska Sirava or you can go for a walk into the Vihorlat which is the biggest mount of Vihorlatske vrchy. The nature is really nice here. In the centre of city you can find two Universities and a lot of shops. The most widely known is shopping center Zemplín, which is the biggest in the east side of Slovakia. We have four bridges over the River Laborec which link center of city and “suburb”. Unfortunately in Michalovce are a lot of cars which pollute the air. It is small city but I like it so much.
I hope that my native town Michalovce will never be changed in my mind and everything will be like nowadays.
