Senica is located in Western Slovakia on the outskirts of lowland and headland Záhorská at the foot of the White Carpathians. The city is the county seat, which is part of the Trnava region.  Senica is located 77 km northwest of the capital city of Bratislava, near the border with the Czech Republic (30 km) and Austria. According to the population belongs to medium-sized Slovak cities. The city is one of the modern, commercial-industrial and cultural centers of the region Záhorie. The center of the city river Teplica.
